Dr. Katelyn McSpadden graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Following graduation, she moved to New York to pursue an equine internship focusing on emergency care, sports medicine, and surgery. After several years in New York, Dr. Katelyn decided to move back to the Raleigh area to be closer to family and escape the cold. Growing up, Dr. Katelyn always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Throughout her career, she has worked with a variety of species and has a soft spot for large dogs. She has also developed a passion for writing and creating client education resources. Her clinical interests include preventative care and pain management. In her free time, Dr. Katelyn enjoys spending time with her dog Tucker, reading, and baking.
