Corisa Cheston, DVM
Corisa Cheston, DVM graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She worked her first few years out of school as a mixed animal veterinarian, where she treated all animals, from horses and goats to chickens and pigs, as well as cats and dogs. Though she loves her sheep and goats, she decided to move on to working strictly with small animals to better focus her abilities and hone her skills in medicine. She enjoys internal medicine and geriatric medicine as they are challenging and both give her the ability to provide a better quality of life for those pets we consider family. Originally from Texas, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from NC State University after making a move across the country and leaving her family behind. She met her husband in her last year of undergrad while living in the same apartment complex and they married 4 years later. They now have two kids, 3 dogs, and 1 cat and enjoy being outside together on their farm. If she ever gets alone time, she can be found drinking a glass of Cabernet and putting together jigsaw puzzles or doing word finds.
