It has been a very busy year thus far, and as we head into Fall, I wanted to update you on all that has been happening…
We have some exciting news to share! While some of you may be aware, others may not know yet that we are building a brand new state-of-the-art facility to better serve our clients and patients. Not to worry about inconvenience, though, because we are relocating right across the street! Over this next year, we look forward to you being part of Harmony’s transformation as we post pictures and update our progress. In the weeks to come, we will announce our groundbreaking celebration with an invitation for you to join us as we put the first shovel in the ground.
Taking this next step in our journey is possible due to you, our amazing and loyal Harmony friends and family. Since we opened in May 2009, our small, locally owned and operated business has accomplished so much thanks to you. Your support, love and belief in Harmony has brought us here, and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Â I want to also thank my phenomenal team. Without their daily commitment, perseverance, and genuine love for our patients and clients, I assure you, none of this would be possible.
Speaking of our team, if you have been into Harmony lately, you may have noticed some changes. While there are lots of familiar faces still with us, we also have some new faces, and we have had to say goodbye to others. Veterinary medicine is a challenging industry – emotionally, physically and mentally. Some will choose it for a lifetime and others will not. When we began staffing our hospital years ago, we were clear that we wanted to support our team member’s dreams and to lift them up to be able to accomplish their passions, even if it means we only get to keep them for brief periods of time. This is a not an easy path we have chosen. As the field of veterinary medicine continues rapidly evolving, we are committed to being leaders and staying abreast of what will best serve our clients and patients, as well as supporting our team members in realizing their own dreams. To that end, we will most likely always be training new team members in one area or another. So, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge your patience and understanding. While it is always our hope and goal that any and all transitions will be seamless, we certainly are aware that there are likely to be, and sometimes are, bumps along the way.
Finally, I cannot stress enough that we sincerely appreciate and welcome feedback from you. We need, and most certainly want, to hear from you whether we are doing a great job or whether there is something we can do to serve you better. After all, that is what Harmony is all about, and providing the Harmony experience will always be our highest commitment to each other, our clients, and our beloved patients. Our mission, our values, and our passion for what we do is unwavering, and every day we are honored to continue growing so that we can continue serving as many of you and your pets as possible. May you be Happy, Healthy…Harmony!
Much love, Jodi
