Jason Lenhardt

Practice Manager

Jason, who is also Dr. Jodi’s husband, has an interesting career history. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1998 with a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance. He worked for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a stock broker for a year before deciding that was not the career for him. Then he was given the unique opportunity to work for the University of Florida Tissue Bank where he climbed the ranks and was asked to open a satellite branch of the tissue bank in Los Angeles, CA. When it was time for him and Dr. Jodi to start a family, they decided to move back to the East Coast. It was an easy decision to move to this area where most of Dr. Jodi’s family lives. He then worked for Fresenius Medical Care as the area manager for seven branches of their dialysis treatment centers. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he decided to go to work for himself rehabbing dilapidated homes here in the Raleigh area. He obtained a real estate broker’s license and still enjoys investment real estate. Jason jumped at the chance when Dr. Jodi proposed opening their very own veterinary hospital and has been by her side during the entire process. We feel very fortunate to have him here with us. His real estate construction background helped build our hospital and his previous medical, managerial, and financial experience makes him a well qualified practice manager. He is a huge animal lover too…a must for his position!

Veterinary Nurse

Marianne has worked in the veterinary field for nearly six years in various positions, including several years as an experienced veterinary nurse. She took some time away from the animal-care field, but has returned with a renewed passion for taking care of the needs of our furry patients. Having graduated form the University of Tennessee in 2007 with a degree in Animal Science, her ultimate goal is to return to college, earn a veterinary degree, and enter private practice. Prior to moving to North Carolina from Tennessee where she worked at an Animal Control shelter, Marianne grew up in central Florida, spending time with Greyhound Pets of America. True to her tender-hearted nature, Marianne adopted both of her stray and rescued pets--a mixed-breeds dog named Norman and a tuxedo cat named Trouble. In her free time, Marianne enjoys volunteering, horseback riding, drawing, creating jewelry, and spending time with her family and friends.

Veterinary Nurse

Having lived in four different states on the east coast, Wendie moved to North Carolina in 2008 after living for many years in northern Virginia, and discovered that North Carolina is by far her favorite (despite her love for the New England area). Wendie graduated from NC State University in 2010 with a Bachelors degree in English Education. Although she considers herself a people person, she cannot deny her love for working within the animal world. With nearly seven years experience in the Veterinary medicine field, Wendie lives out the quote, “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Wendie now has one cat named Leland, but has adored many more beloved pets before their passing: a beloved Labrador retriever, Zepplin Curtis; and three cats, Jake, Onics, and Killian. In her spare time Wendie enjoys being around a campfire, hiking, lakes, & wearing her cowboy boots.
